October Ovation

October 8, 2026
Moon Construction

Highlights

This month, we salute our amazing carpenters, stone workers, and relentless founder for the incredible updates at Moon! The latest finely crafted mahogany wood delivery includes the beautiful, custom front doors of Moon, the final guardrails for areas within Moon, and a luxury wooden upgrade for the showers within each bungalow. Locally sourced stone is also being custom-made and added to the inner wall and other select areas to complete the vision, created and continually refined by the determined founder of Moon.

Grit is the drive to stick with long-term, meaningful goals, even when progress is slow or painful. Grit can also be defined as small pieces of stone; or as abrasive particles used for grinding. Right now, grit is present at Moon in all three forms — as the remnants of stone being broken, as sandpaper used to smooth mahogany wood, and perhaps most importantly, as the fortitude displayed by Moon’s founder as he shows up every day, supports the team, and boldly tackles and develops creative solutions for each challenge that arises. On the island, these challenges include labor and material shortages that delay the opening of Moon. And so we must celebrate breakthroughs — the golden moments when everything aligns to create meaningful progress.

As we show appreciation for those who have contributed to the major changes at Moon, we hope you will feel inspired to applaud yourself for areas where you’ve experienced a breakthrough. We are thankful to share this journey with you and we look forward to welcoming you to Moon very soon!
