Highlights

The Moon Construction team continues to polish the bungalows with additional layers of concrete. While smoothing the outer surfaces, this concrete also adds strength to the structures.

When considering the process of polishing, we are reminded of the lava rocks and black sand beaches around the island of Santo Antão. After centuries of force from the Atlantic ocean waves, the stones have become smooth and also ground into the fine sand that is also being used to make the Moon concrete.

Becoming polished requires destruction, a letting go of what was once present. As we appreciate the beauty that is unfolding at Moon and in nature, we honor this cycle and marvel at the process that has transformed lava into walls. May you also recognize your own transformations and see the beauty that it has created in your life at this moment. We look forward to seeing you at Moon!
